We are Daga & Rafal, a husband and wife team offering wedding photography and film throughout Ireland and Europe.
Our approach is calm, natural and documentary-led. We focus on real moments, genuine emotion and the atmosphere of the day as it unfolds, allowing you to experience your wedding without feeling like it has become a production.
We gently guide when needed, but mostly we observe and allow the day to breathe. Photography and film are created together with the same approach, giving you an honest and connected record of how your wedding truly felt.
PHOTOGRAPHY & FILM, TELLING THE SAME STORY
Photography and film give you two different ways of remembering the same day. Photographs hold onto individual moments, while film brings back the movement, voices, laughter and atmosphere around them.
Because we work together as a husband and wife team, our approach to both is naturally connected. We aren't two separate suppliers working around each other. We know how the other works, where to be and when to give each other space, allowing us to document the day without it feeling like there are cameras everywhere.
Most importantly, photography and film never become the centre of the wedding. The day itself always comes first.
NATURAL, DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
For us, wedding photography is about noticing what is already there. The small interactions, the people around you, the anticipation before the ceremony, the laughter, the nerves and the moments you might not even see happening yourself.
We don't want your wedding to feel like a photoshoot. For most of the day, we work by observing rather than directing, giving you space to be present and allowing moments to happen naturally.
When a little guidance is helpful, we'll give it. During portraits, we'll find beautiful light and gently guide you without forcing poses or trying to create something that doesn't feel like you. The result is a collection of photographs that feels natural, personal and true to the day.
NATURAL, DOCUMENTARY WEDDING FILMS
Film lets you remember parts of the wedding that photographs can't quite hold. The voices, movement, laughter, music and little interactions that bring you back to how the day actually felt.
Our wedding films are created with the same documentary approach as our photography. We don't direct the day around the film or repeatedly recreate moments for the camera. We gently guide when needed, but mostly allow things to happen naturally.
We want the finished film to feel personal to you, shaped by the people, atmosphere and emotion of your wedding rather than a formula we repeat from one couple to another.

We take on a limited number of weddings each year, allowing us to give each couple a personal and considered experience from the first conversation through to the finished photographs and films.
